A ceremony of unveiling the mosaic and monument took place on Monday.

Present there were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Yong Su, department director of the C.C., the WPK, officials in the field of sports, employees and sports persons.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the mosaic before paying tribute.

Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Ri Jong Mu made an address.

He said that the mosaic and the monument were erected at the Sports Village in Chongchun Street, a reflection of the steadfast will of all officials and employees in the field of sports and sportspersons to glorify forever the feats of the peerlessly great persons and dynamically advance to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

He called upon all officials, employees and sports persons to remain loyal to Kim Jong Un's leadership and devote themselves to the work to build the sports power of Juche.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants were briefed on the mosaic and the monument before looking round them.
