Rodong Sinmun Slams Japan for Justifying Past Crimes

Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- A few days ago, the Higashi Osaka City authorities of Japan expressed "protest" against the erection of a sculpture depicting a comfort woman for the Imperial Japanese Army in Glendale City, California of the U.S. and bluffed that they would stop a plan of dispatching students. This is nothing but a mean behavior of Samurais, Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in a commentary.

It goes on:

It is natural for the Japanese politicians to feel shame for the construction of the sculptures and monuments in the U.S. whom they regard as their master, if they have normal way of thinking.

What is more intolerable is that Japan, which is obliged to make an apology and reflect on its big crimes down through generations, openly denies and justifies its filthy crimes in the face of living victims.

The chief executive of Japan is taking the lead in these moves.

Abe is a shameless and militarist maniac who denies reflection on the past crimes. His subordinates are running amuck in distorting history.

It is only militarist slaves and the mentally deformed who grow in the land where dirty politics are prevalent.

The Japanese politicians should clearly bear in mind that denial of history will lead to a ruin of the country.

If Japan opts for reinvasion denying the past war crimes as now, it will face international isolation and disgraceful destruction. This is a warning served by the times and people to the Japanese politicians who shamelessly run amuck in distorting history.
