For three decades since its establishment on January 6, Juche 73 (1984) the complex has made proud history.

Workers and officials of the complex have made contributions to increasing the production of electricity and hastening economic construction by timely providing coal to different fields of the national economy.

A meeting to mark the anniversary took place on Sunday.

Present at the meeting were Mun Myong Hak, minister of Coal Industry, and officials and employees of the complex.

A congratulatory message of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to the workers, technicians and officials of the complex was read out at the meeting.
