The National Democratic Congress of Ghana said on Wednesday:

Marshal Kim Jong Un's New Year Address not only indicates the scientific way to turn the DPRK into a thriving nation in the near future but also greatly encourages us aspiring the development of the relations with the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

We positively support the just stand to resolve the issue of country's reunification by the Korean nation itself without interference of foreign forces.

The WPK will lead to victory the Korean people's struggle for carrying out the tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

On the same day the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association said in a statement:

Kim Jong Un, in his New Year Address, set forth the tasks for the Korean people to make fresh headway in the national reunification movement this year, true to the behests of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, underscoring the need to reject foreign forces and hold fast to the standpoint of By Korean Nation Itself, positively struggle for defending security of the nation and peace and establish the favourable climate for improved relations between the north and the south.

The Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association fully supports the tasks for national reunification set forth by Kim Jong Un and is convinced that all the Korean people would open a new phase of independent reunification, peace and prosperity in firm unity this year.
