Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- The Coal Science Branch of the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK has made a lot of sci-tech achievements for increased coal production. Its researchers succeeded in introducing bundled props in mining anthracite, making it possible to mine in bulk. This method helps ensure pit security with less supply materials while raising the mining rate. They also developed a new type of pneumatic coal dressing machine. It, simple in coal dressing, needs less consumption of electricity than wet dressing. Other researchers of the branch invented a device of controlling tramcar speed by thyristor and methods of making lube oil with coal tar and preventing leaks of underground water in vertical pits. |
