The puppet authorities reneged on their commitment not to privatize the railway service and cracked down on workers. They set in motion more than 5 000 riot police to go on the rampage, pounding with hammer the entrance door of the headquarters of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, firing tear liquid and walking away at least 130 persons.
