The Solidarity for Progress of south Korea denounced the authorities for making no scruple of perpetrating such acts of bedeviling the inter-Korean relations as kicking up a campaign to eliminate "followers of the north" and opening the minutes of the south-north summit to public in a bid to cover up the truth behind the fraudulent election staged with all power bodies involved and evade the responsibility for it.

The Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy, the South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon), the Association of Victims of "National Security Law" and other civic and public organizations condemned the authorities for labeling those protesting against the unpopular rule "followers of the north" and resorting to indiscriminate suppression of the reunification movement.

The People's Solidarity for the Repeal of the "National Security Law", the Measure Committee to Denounce the Intelligence Service's Fabrication of Attempted Rebellion and Suppression under the Pretext of Security, the Civic and Public Joint Measure Committee for Coping with Suppression of Pomminryon and others in south Korea rapped the authorities for kicking up a campaign to eliminate "followers of the north" on charges of violation of the NSL and expressed the will to turn out in the struggle for checking it.

The Unified Progressive Party, the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and other political parties and organizations at their meetings disclosed the gravity of the authorities' reckless campaign and called upon the people of different social standings to turn out in actions against it.

People from all walks of life in South and North Jolla provinces made public declarations on the situation in protest against the criminal acts of the authorities. This action is now sweeping across south Korea.

Religionists are also staging widespread actions in protest against the above-said campaign of the authorities.

The Association of Theological Students for Democracy made up of different students organizations of theological institutes held a mass on the situation at which they declared they would escalate the movement for issuing declarations on the situation.

Media lambasted the authorities for driving the south-north relations to the worst phase through the said campaign, much upset by the daily expanding movement demanding the resignation of the regime in the wake of the recent disclosure of the truth about the election fraud.
