The appeal said:

Korea is one and it is essential to end foreign interference and domination to settle the reunification issue.

The outsiders are to blame for the division of the Korean nation and all the pains the Koreans have suffered for nearly seven decades.

Now is the time for the Koreans to end the nation's partition and get ready for the immensely eternal future of the nation by their concerted efforts.

Coming nearer is the day when the country will be reunified in line with the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

All Koreans except pro-U.S. sycophantic forces should come out in the effort for national independence and reunification and under the uplifted banner of the Korean nation-first spirit. They should involve politicians, workers, peasants, youth, students and conscientious intellectuals and businessmen.

Korea can surely be reunified if all Koreans in the north and south and abroad pool their efforts.
