Schoolchildren's New Year Performance Gripping Audience

| Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- All of the numbers put on the stage at the Schoolchildren's New Year performance now under way here have enjoyed acclamation from the audience. Among them is a folk instrumental trio "My Country Is Best". The performers play flute, Janggu (a kind of drum) and kayagum, in combination with rhythmic dance movements. Their artistic skills are so amazing that it is hard to believe they are at the age of about 10. In rhythmic gymnastics "Songdowon Children's Camp, Cradle of Happiness" the performers in sporting uniforms, each with a life belt in hands, displayed excellent movements. An acrobatics "Roller-skate Is So Good" is also one of those numbers provoking admiration of the audience. |
