U.S. Plans to Increase Aggression Forces in Forefront Area of S. Korea

Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialist aggression forces are mulling introducing into south Korea their motorized battalion armed with the updated tanks and armored cars and others under the pretext of deploying forces on a rotating basis.

The battalion was withdrawn to the U.S. mainland from Iraq. It will be reportedly introduced into south Korea and deployed in the northern part of Kyonggi Province to belong to the 1st Brigade of the 2nd Division of the U.S. forces.

In this regard, south Korean media said that the U.S. forces are contemplating increasing armed forces in the area along the Military Demarcation Line and deploying new weapons there.

The U.S. is massively introducing war hardware and forces in the Korean Peninsula and its vicinities, bringing dark clouds of a war for aggression.
