Present there were the chairman, secretary general and members of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, figures of the Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Association for Implementing the Juche Philosophy, the Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of University of Kinshasa in DR Congo.

The annual meeting reviewed the work of the national committee in 2013 and discussed its working plan for 2014.

In his report Chairman Rohekele Andre referred to the successes made in the work of the national committee in 2013 to study and disseminate Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and works of supreme leader Kim Jong Un and in the activities to expand the number of the Juche idea followers.

The participation in major events held on significant days in the DPRK such as celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, the meeting held to hear a report on the visit to the DPRK and the African regional seminar on "The Juche Idea and Lesson for Independent Change in Africa" helped people of DR Congo deepen understanding of the truth and vitality of the Juche idea, he said.

He underscored the need to conduct diverse and wide-ranging activities to study and disseminate the Juche idea through the newly opened website of the national committee.
