|
Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Workers of Pusan area affiliated to the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions held a rally at the plaza of Pusan City Office on Jan. 9. Speakers accused the present chief executive of pursuing the policy of disregarding public voices. The New Year press conference of the chief executive is no more than a declaration of war against the workers, they said, adding the "government" is enforcing privatization of public sectors. They recalled that south Koreans rejected the distorted history textbooks to which the conservative ruling forces have long directed much effort. It served as an important occasion indicating the orientation of this year's struggle, they noted. Saying that they can never live under the Park Geun Hye regime even a day, they called on workers of Pusan to actively join the general strike for forcing the present regime to step down, smashing the suppression of labor movement and checking the privatization. At the end of the meeting its participants held a demonstration, chanting slogans criticizing the puppet authorities' unpopular rule. |
