The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty condemned the present regime for resorting to war moves threatening the people's life under the tense situation in which firing of a single bullet may lead to an all-out war and a nuclear war.

The South Jolla Provincial Solidarity for Progress and other civic and public organizations in the province said that the Korean Peninsula is now in hair-trigger crisis due to the ceaseless war drills by the U.S. and south Korea, adding that if a war breaks out again, the Korean nation will suffer nuclear disasters and calamities.

The Pusan Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration, the Pusan Women's Society, the Pusan Youth Association and other civic and public organizations warned that the bellicose forces should stop acting rashly, noting that those seeking to run away overseas before anyone in case a war breaks out are talking about "counteraction".

The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification, the Youth Solidarity and other organizations said it is impossible to achieve peace on the Korean Peninsula as long as there persists the U.S. policy for a nuclear war and there continue military exercises supporting it.

The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification and the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy said gone are days never to return when the U.S. used to unilaterally threaten other countries with nuclear weapons, asserting that the U.S. troops should immediately go home from south Korea they are regarding as their own home.

The Media Headquarters and the Science Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration insisted that the danger of a war should be eradicated and the U.S. and south Korean authorities should discontinue the hostile words and deeds and war drills against the DPRK.

The People's Strength for Building New World, the Federation of University Students and other public organizations called for preventing a war and bringing earlier the day to live in a reunified country.
