He said that supreme leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address called for holding fast to the standpoint of By Our Nation Itself and positively struggling to defend the national security and peace and establishing a climate for improved inter-Korean ties to resolve the reunification issue of the country in keeping with the aspiration and desire of the fellow countrymen.

The New Year Address serves as an inspiring and victorious banner instilling the noble idea of national independence and the strong will into the minds of Koreans in Japan and encouraging them to turn out in the nationwide struggle for opening up a new phase of independent reunification, peace and prosperity.

Only when all Koreans in the north, in the south and overseas come out as one in the nationwide struggle along the road for reunification indicated by Kim Jong Un, can a new breakthrough be made in the struggle for national reunification.

The south Korean authorities must immediately stop soliciting foreign countries for "international cooperation" over the national issue, the inter-Korean ties and intensifying the moves for confrontation with their compatriots in the north as it may cause the outbreak of a nuclear war on the Korean Peninsula.

They must also halt their racket to eliminate the "forces following the north" and their fascist suppression of pro-reunification democratic forces in south Korea.

Chongryon and Koreans in Japan, who have taken the road of reunification under the leadership of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, will launch a strenuous struggle for realizing the national reunification with Kim Jong Un as the lodestar for national reunification.
