Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- 1 145 south Koreans dedicated a declaration on the situation to newspaper Hangyore Tuesday protesting against the puppet authorities' moves to forcibly disband the Unified Progressive Party (UPP). They blamed the authorities for cooking up a rebellion case and pressing for a motion calling for disbanding the UPP after people's candlelight actions began in protest against the power organs' illegal interference in election. To stop the forcible disbandment of the UPP is an issue of realizing democracy of society, and an issue preventing political rights of civic and public organizations from being violated, they said. They called on conscientious democratic forces to join hands against the forcible disbandment. They demanded the "government" withdraw the motion calling for the disbandment of the UPP, though belatedly. If the Park Geun Hye regime finally brings back the security rule dating back to the dictatorial period, it will face strong public resistance, they warned. |
