The office, inaugurated on Jan. 16, Juche 63 (1974), has successfully discharged its revolutionary duty, covering the proud path with loyalty and feats under the guidance and care of the party and leader.

A congratulatory message sent by the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) to the officials, lecturers and caretakers of the office was read out at the meeting.

The message said that President Kim Il Sung personally found out the revolutionary battle sites in the secret camp of Mt. Paektu and gave field guidance to them several times to build them to be powerful centers for education in revolutionary tradition and time-honored holy places of revolution.

Leader Kim Jong Il guided the work to build the battle sites to make them retain their original glory on the principle of historicism and reconstruct lodging quarters of visitors and showed such great benevolence as making sure that houses for employees, schools and kindergartens were built, it noted.

It highly estimated the officials, lecturers and caretakers of the office for making achievements in preserving and glorifying the revolutionary tradition of the WPK with loyalty to the party and the leader.
