The participants laid bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung in Chongjin City and paid tribute.

Present at the meeting were captains and crewmen of a Sierra Leon-flagged ship and the Cambodia-flagged ship Matilda.

Speakers at the meeting said that all the achievements made by the Korean people last year were ascribable to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Expressing full support for Kim Jong Un's New Year Address, they hoped that the Korean people will successfully implement the tasks set forth in it.

They urged the south Korean authorities to stop at once the reckless confrontation rackets and new war provocations and take practical measures for the reunification of Korea.

They said that Korea will surely be reunified thanks to Kim Jong Un, adding that they will always express firm support and solidarity for the Korean people's struggle.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
