Day of Shining Star to Be Commemorated in Bangladesh

| Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- The Bangladeshi preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of general secretary Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated on Jan. 16. MD. Harun-Ar-Rashid, chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events to widely introduce the noble revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il and his undying exploits on the occasion of February 16 (Day of the Shining Star). |
