A meeting for the start of the study tour was held before the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo in Hyesan City, Ryanggang Province Wednesday.

The participants placed a floral basket and bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung there before paying tribute.

At the meeting a reporter and speakers called for demonstrating through the study tour the unshakable will of young people to deeply trust and follow the great Workers' Party of Korea and successfully carry forward the lineage of Mt. Paektu.

They underscored the need to remain true to the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un and contribute to building a thriving nation by learning from the transparent spirit of devotedly defending the leader and indomitable fighting spirit displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners.

After the meeting, the members of the study tour group started their march to Pochonbo.

They were seen off by many people including schoolchildren in the city.
