Solar Water Heater Widely Used in DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- Solar water heaters produced by the Solar Heater Company have gained popularity among households in cities and rural communities of the DPRK. A solar water heater is capable of warming up hundreds liters of water a day. And an increasing number of public bathes are installing the heaters, instead of coal boilers. Kim Yong Il, director of the company, told KCNA that the solar water heater is well received by users as it is very economic. |
