Ali Houdou, president of the party, said:

Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), performed distinguished exploits in party building, leading the party for a long period.

He made sure that the WPK takes the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung as the only guiding principle and thus strengthened the party as the transparent ideological integral whole and the party which firmly realized unity and cohesion.

He also built the WPK into the genuine mother party serving the people.

He will always live with the WPK winning victory after victory.

A vice-president of the party said that Kim Jong Il performed great exploits guaranteeing the eternal foundation of socialist Korea and global cause of independence and bright future.
