Officials of the Korea Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Committee are busy making preparations for the festival.

This year's festival to be held on the theme of "Kimjongilia in full bloom promising a rosy future of the great Paektusan nation" will be quite different in its content and style from the past events.

The general design of the venue of the festival has been completed in a peculiar manner.

The portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il will be displayed on all display stands which will turn into a sea of flowers.

Service personnel of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces and Kim Song Dok-led Unit of the Korean People's Army, etc. are showing all sincerity in cultivating Kimjongilias.

The Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea, the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport, the Kyonghung Guidance Bureau and other units are taking thorough-going measures for the cultivation of the flowers such as sunrays adjustment and guarantee of proper temperature and humidity.

All the participating units focus efforts on making the festival most successful.

Kim Il Sung Higher Party School, the Foreign Ministry, the Taesong Guidance Bureau, the Ponghwa Guidance Bureau, the General Bureau of Public Service and others are hastening their work to decorate their stands in a peculiar manner as required by the thematic and ideological contents reflected in the design.

Not a few families in the capital city are also busy making preparations to contribute potted Kimjongilias to the festival.
