The executive chairman of the Solidarity for Progress said at the meeting that Chongwadae is shielding those involved in the case of the Intelligence Service (IS) for the purpose of continuing fraudulent elections.

Elections to the local self-governing bodies to be held in June will be just like bolting a door with a boiled carrot, unless the truth behind the fraudulent election is probed through a special investigation, the executive chairman held.

The policy section chief of the Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea stressed the need to fully probe the truth about the case and declared that a special investigation should be conducted into the case by dint of candlelight action.

The co-executive chairman of the "Measure Committee to Denounce the Intelligence Service's Fabrication of Attempted Rebellion and Suppression under the Pretext of Security" said that the recorded contents of discussion which the IS produced as convincing evidence during the trial of the attempted rebellion are peppered with fabrications and lies.

He said the people's anger at the IS frauds was growing stronger.

The participants declared that they would not cease their actions until a special investigation is made into the IS case.
