The Nepali newspaper Arpan on January 24 noted this in an article titled "Reunification of the Korean nation".

It continued:

Kim Il Sung devoted himself to the country and the nation throughout his life and performed the immortal exploits for the cause of national reunification.

He always concerned himself with the issue of reunification and set forth it as the greatest task of the nation.

He clarified the three principles of national reunification-- independence, peaceful reunification and great unity of the nation, put forth the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and energetically led the struggle to realize it.

The fair and aboveboard proposal for reunification set forth by him and the historic July 4 joint statement adopted and published thanks to his efforts gained great support and sympathy from not only all the Koreans in the north and the south and overseas but also the world people.

The world recognizes that Kim Jong Il worked heart and soul to carry out the instructions of Kim Il Sung for national reunification and performed the immortal exploits.

Today Marshal Kim Jong Un is leading the struggle for achieving the cause of Korean nation's reunification.

Korea will surely be reunified thanks to him.
