Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Czech Republic

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Czech Republic for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Prague on January 23. Jaroslav Kafka, chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
