Crucial Proposal of NDC of DPRK Supported by Bulgarian Political Party Figure

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, issued a statement on January 23 in support of the crucial proposal made by the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK. He said that the NDC of the DPRK proposed the south Korean authorities on January 16 to improve the north-south relations and preserve peace on the Korean Peninsula. The proposal clarified issues of taking practical measures for completely halting all acts of provoking and slandering each other and all military hostile acts against the other side and making realistic measures for preventing nuclear disasters, he said and went on: The south Korean authorities should accept the crucial proposal of the NDC of the DPRK and make efforts to implement the June 15 north-south joint declaration. |
