Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Austria

| Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- An Austrian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Vienna on January 24. Helmut Haidweger, vice-chairman of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to widely introduce the exploits of Kim Jong Il and organize diverse political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
