Illegal Surveillance of Civilian by IS Slammed
Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- Members of 16 civic and social organizations in Ansan City, Kyonggi Province, held a press conference on Jan. 27 denouncing the Intelligence Service for its illegal surveillance, according to Tongil News, an internet paper of south Korea.

At the conference, the speakers disclosed the fact that a member of the service was taken by the collar while shadowing a member of the association of party member in Ansan City of the Unified Progressive Party on Jan. 24.

The surveillance against civilians is against law, they argued, adding the Intelligence Service is nothing different from the Central Intelligence Agency in the past.

Then, a press release was read out.

The member of the IS who was caught confessed that his action was an additional investigation into the incident of the plotted rebellion, the press release said, adding:

If it is true, the incident of the plotted rebellion which the authorities were in charge can not but be a fabrication in which they arrested civilians at random without evidence and issued warrants for them.

Shadowing and surveillance against the member of the Ansan City Progressive Party are no more than a plot to evade the crisis caused by the illegal interference in the election.

As the crackdown upon the party did not meet their intention, IS fabricated a new incident, a childish ploy to wipe out the progressive party at any cost.

They will not remain a passive onlooker to the illegal surveillance against the people, the press release said, urging IS to stop the surveillance against civilians and political interference and make an apology to the people for their illegal interference in the election.
