Swiss Organizations Urge S. Korea to Respond to Open Letter of DPRK

| Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea on January 24 made public a joint statement in support of the open letter of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK. The statement said: The open letter held the history of the territorial partition has brought untold misfortune and pain to the Korean nation and it is entirely caused by outside forces. It re-clarified the principled issues proposed to the south Korean authorities by the NDC of the DPRK on January 16. It reaffirmed the steadfast will of the DPRK to improve the inter-Korean relations and reunify the country. We fully support the open letter of the NDC of the DPRK. We urge the south Korean authorities to stop negative and hostile acts and respond to the idea and proposals reflected in the open letter. |
