Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- Members of the Unified Progressive Party (UPP) of south Korea held a meeting outside the Suwon Local Court on Feb. 3, according to Jaju Minbo, an Internet paper of south Korea. The speakers at the meeting accused the prosecution of demanding 20 years in prison for Ri Sok Gi, member of the "National Assembly", and heavy penalties for others related to the UPP case. The course of hearing disclosed that the recorded lecture which the Intelligence Service produced as convincing evidence was fabricated and testimonies made by witnesses of hearing at the attempted rebellion were tailored to serve its purpose. This being a hard fact, the action taken by the prosecution goes to clearly prove that it was reduced to a waiting maid of the power. They declared they would stage positive actions for the acquittal of the victims of the case. |
