Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Libya

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- A Libyan preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Tarabulus on Feb. 3. The chairman of the Libya-DPRK Friendship Association who doubles as acting secretary general of the Sunbula International Friendship Club was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
