Greatest Holidays of DPRK to Be Celebrated in South Africa

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- There took place an inaugural ceremony of the South African preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) and the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) in Mfumalanga Province on Monday. Bonakele Majuba, secretary of the Mfumalaga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party and chairman of the South African Association of Friendship and Solidarity with Korean People, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events to widely introduce the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il between February 3 and April 18. A message to supreme leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the inaugural ceremony. |
