Kim Yong Nam Meets Russian President Putin

| Sochi, February 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK who is taking part in the opening ceremony of the 22nd Winter Olympic Games as an honorary guest, met Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation, in Sochi on Friday. Kim Yong Nam courteously conveyed greetings sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un to the Russian president. The Russian president expressed his profound thanks for them and asked Kim Yong Nam to convey his sincere regard to Kim Jong Un. Kim Yong Nam had a talk with the Russian president on the issue of developing the traditional DPRK-Russia cooperative relations in a friendly atmosphere. |
