Kim Yong Nam Meets Heads of Various States and UN Secretary General

| Sochi, February 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly who is participating in the opening ceremony of the 22nd Winter Olympic Games as an honorary guest, met heads of various states and the UN Secretary General in Sochi on Friday. Kim Yong Nam met Xi Jinping, president of the People's Republic of China, and had a friendly talk with him. He courteously conveyed greetings sent by supreme leader Kim Jong Un to President Xi Jinping. Xi Jinping expressed deep thanks for them and asked Kim Yong Nam to convey his sincere regard to Kim Jong Un. Meanwhile, Kim Yong Nam separately met Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, president of Mongolia, Nursultan Nazarbayev, president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serge Sarkissian, president of the Republic of Armenia, and Ban Ki Moon, secretary general of the United Nations. |
