Preparatory Committee for Celebrating Day of Shining Star Inaugurated in Norway

| Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- A Norwegian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Ostfold County on Feb. 3. Dag Norum, chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, and Rita Berger, chief of the Ostfold Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, were elected co-chairpersons of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
