Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Uganda and DR Congo made public statements in support of the crucial proposal and open letter of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK on Jan. 28 and 30. The Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement noted: We can never tolerate foreign interference in the internal affairs of the DPRK and acts of harassing peace in the region. We, therefore, fully support the crucial proposal made by the NDC of the DPRK. Any slightest accidental conflict would lead to a total war, a nuclear disaster which would lead to the end of the world. We call for seriously dealing with such development and making due efforts for protecting peace. The Association for Implementing the Juche Philosophy of DR Congo said it received with great interest the crucial proposal and open letter of the NDC of the DPRK, adding: The present international situation teaches a historic lesson that a country can achieve its national prosperity when it is united, but will fall victim to the imperialists' interests when it is divided. The south Korean authorities should see through the ulterior design of the U.S. to fish in troubled waters by seeking permanent division of Korea. We urge the south Korean authorities to positively respond to the sincere efforts of the DPRK to achieve peace and reunification of Korea by the concerted efforts of all Koreans. We extend our full support and solidarity to the policy of independent and peaceful reunification set forth by supreme leader Kim Jong Un. |
