Cancellation of Projected Joint Military Drills Demanded

| Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- The South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration issued a statement on Feb. 7 urging the south Korean authorities to cancel the projected joint military drills with the U.S., according to Yonhap News of south Korea. The statement noted that the authorities should cancel the projected joint military drills with the U.S. for peace on the Korean peninsula and the development of the south-north relations, though belatedly. |
