It was disclosed some time ago that at present Japan has 44 tons of plutonium enough to produce at least 5 000 nukes.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a commentary in this regard:

Japan has stockpiled a huge quantity of plutonium in a bid to realize nuclear weaponization any time.

It has become fully capable of manufacturing, possessing and using nukes through its persistent moves to go nuclear.

The U.S. has already recognized Japan's possible access to nuclear weapons.

High-ranking politicians of Japan openly admitted that Japan is capable of producing thousands of nuclear weapons if it has a will and is technologically capable of doing so. What remains to be done by Japan is to make nuclear weapons. To this end, Japan is stockpiling plutonium more than its requirement.

The Japanese reactionaries have created social atmosphere and legal environment needed for nuclear weaponization. Its typical example is the revised "Basic Law on Atomic Energy."

Japan may go nuclear any time, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The Japanese militarists' nuclear weaponization is aimed at launching overseas aggression and operations for world domination.

In the past Japan frantically perpetrated aggression and war, conquering various Asian countries and cruelly killing their peoples though it did not have nukes. It is as clear as daylight what hideous crimes it will commit if Tokyo has access to nukes.

Japan's nuclear weaponization will lead to its national ruin and doom.

Japan had better bear this in mind and discard its daydream.
