Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea which clarifies that the popular masses are masters of revolution and construction and push ahead with them, and liberated Korea through the armed struggle against Japanese imperialism.

He founded the DPRK, the country of the people, and strengthened it.

Kim Jong Il developed in depth the immortal Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung into a great guiding idea in the era of independence and cemented the single-minded unity with Kim Il Sung as the monolithic center by proclaiming the programme for modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism.

Kim Jong Il published historic works including "Socialism Is a Science" in the closing period of the 20th century when the imperialists became more vocal criticizing socialism by taking advantage of the collapse of the east European socialist countries and thus instilled great confidence and encouragement into the popular masses of the whole world.

The outstanding leadership of Kim Jong Il, who defended socialist Korea, the beacon of hope of the progressive humankind, and humbled U.S. imperialism engrossed in high-handed and arbitrary practices with the treasured sword of Songun, left a great trace in the global cause of independence.

Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will always be alive in the minds of the world oppressed popular masses as they ushered in the era of independence, the new era of history, and glorified socialist Korea.
