French Organization Accuses Japan of Its Moves to Revive Militarism

Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- The France-Korean Friendship Association posted an article on its website on Feb. 3 denouncing Japan for its moves to distort history and revive militarism. The article noted Japan has become evermore undisguised in its moves to distort history and revive militarism, as evidenced by Prime Minister Abe's visit to Yasukuni Shrine and the decision of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to describe Tok islets as "part of the inalienable territory of Japan" in the "explanation of study guidebook", which would serve as guidelines for editing textbooks for junior and senior high schools. All Koreans and the Chinese people are condemning Japan as the very one causing instability in the region by negating the crimes committed by it in the past, the article said, adding: Japan is an arch criminal triggering off conflicts by zealously perpetrating militaristic provocations in the East Asian region. We urge Japan to reflect on its past crimes and make reparations to the Koreans and other Asian people. |
