The revolutionary traditions of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) are the historic root which ushered in the origin of the Korean revolution and the source of the indestructible power firmly guaranteeing the victory of the revolutionary cause.

The revolutionary battle sites and revolutionary sites are the eternal treasures of the revolution and important bases for education in revolutionary traditions as they implicate the revolutionary history of the WPK.

They have greater influence than hundreds of words in educating the masses as they are associated with the immortal revolutionary history and feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the fighting spirit of the revolutionary forerunners who pulled through the grim tempest of the revolution under the guidance of the leader.

The present situation in which the rising generation who did not experience the ordeals of revolution is becoming the main force of the revolutionary ranks and huge tasks are cropping up calls for further deepening the education in revolutionary traditions than ever before.

In order to strengthen the single-minded unity centered on the leader in every way and accelerate the final victory in building a thriving nation under the leadership of the party, it is necessary to put greatest efforts to education in revolutionary traditions. Herein lies the way for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered in Mt. Paektu.
