Displayed in the exhibition hall is a photo of Kim Jong Il wishing the great Paektusan nation eternal prosperity with a bright smile on his face.

Also seen there are photos dealing with the glorious revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il, who made immortal contributions to accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche, the cause of national reunification and the human cause of independence.

On display there are photos showing the great traits of Kim Jong Il, who strengthened the Workers' Party of Korea into the party of President Kim Il Sung and created a new history of realizing the cause of perpetuating the memory of Kim Il Sung and photos dealing with Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership feats.

Also displayed are photos showing the personality of supreme leader Kim Jong Un as great man who is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of Kim Jong Il by wisely leading the work to model the whole party and society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

Other photos vividly represent the stirring reality of Songun Korea where all its service personnel and people are enthusiastically making a fresh leap forward to usher in a period of its great prosperity.

Present at the opening ceremony were Kim Ki Nam, Yang Hyong Sop, Vice-premier Kim Yong Jin, officials concerned and Pyongyang citizens.

Minister of Culture Pak Chun Nam made an opening address.

At the end of the opening ceremony the participants went round the exhibition.
