He stated:

Recognizing that the crucial proposal sent by the NDC to the south Korean authorities is the most realistic and fair one reflecting the desire of all Korean people to put an end to the national division as early as possible and achieve peace and prosperity, we extend full support it.

The above-said proposal reflects the genuine will of the DPRK to pave a wide avenue for improving the north-south relations irrespective of ideology and social system.

It also clearly shows the world who sincerely stands for peace, security and reunification on the Korean peninsula as it calls for totally stopping the smear campaign and hostile military acts that stoke distrust and confrontation.

We condemn acts of foreign forces worsening the north-south relations and perpetuating the division of the Korean nation.

We also urge the south Korean authorities to positively respond to the crucial proposal of the NDC without delay and cancel their scenario for provocative military drills at once.
