Choe Hwi, first vice department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, referred to the facts that Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into a guiding force for the Songun revolution, converted the country into a politico-ideological power based on the single-minded unity and an invincible military power and laid a firm foundation for realizing all dreams and ideals of the people on this land.

He expressed the firm determination to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the party in every way and dynamically push forward the work for firmly preparing all members of society as Kimilsungists-Kimjongilists this year.

Kang Pyo Yong, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, recalled that Kim Jong Il built the People's Army into a strong army of a harmonious whole and into a-match-for-a-hundred revolutionary armed forces, thus providing a powerful politico-military foundation for the prosperity of the great Paektusan nation.

He expressed the will of all servicepersons to become the first-line lifeguards and death-defying corps of Kim Jong Un protecting the Central Committee of the Party headed by him and the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.

Vice-Premier Jon Sung Hun expressed the determination to thoroughly establish the monolithic leadership system of the Party in state economic work, unconditionally carry out the idea and line of Kim Jong Un and the economic policies of the party and make a fresh leap forward in every worksite of the country for a great surge.

Fireworks were displayed in the sky above the secret camp.

The rally powerfully demonstrated the unshakable will of all service personnel and people to glorify Kim Jong Il's idea and cause forever and exalt the dignity and national power of the great Paektusan nation, united close behind Kim Jong Un.
