The site is located in Jagang Province. Kim Jong Il stayed there for more than 20 days during the Fatherland Liberation War where he hardened his will to bring about the bright future of the country after victory in the war, wishing President Kim Il Sung good health.

Preserved there with much care are the house where Kim Jong Il stayed, a small desk, school things, clock, etc. used by him.

There are also the study site, singing site, site of playing soldiers, wrestling site, etc where he led his comrades to prepare themselves to be revolutionary talents with versatile knowledge and strong bodies.

The visitors get a good knowledge of the noble personality of Kim Jong Il, while looking round different places of the site.
