The publication of the historic June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and the great joy brought by the idea of By Our Nation Itself, shaking three thousand-ri of land, were the precious fruition of his unshakable will for reunification, extraordinary strategy, outstanding leadership and broad magnanimity.

His great revolutionary career is being given steady continuity by you.

You, regarding national reunification as most ardent patriotism, set forth scientific proposals for reunification with your rare wisdom and outstanding strategy and powerfully encouraged all the Koreans by showing broad magnanimity and making important decisions, thus arousing them to the implementation of the north-south joint declarations.

The period in which you have led the party, army and people is just a moment in the history of the nation spanning 5 000 years but the exploits you have performed during this period are so great and eye-opening that prominent politicians can hardly do the same even in several generations.

The letter reiterated the will to develop the AINDF into the ranks of ardent loyalists who never make any deviation from the orbit of independence set by President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un and into a steel-strong death-defying corps which takes the lead in upholding his idea of national reunification.

We will actively contribute to certainly glorifying this significant year marking the 20th anniversary of the President's last signature on a historic document concerning the country's reunification as a year of opening a new phase for independent reunification, peace and prosperity without fail, the letter added.
