Principled Stand of DPRK Supported by British Organizations

Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association issued a joint statement on February 6 in support of the statement of the spokesman for the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK.

The statement expressed deep concern over the grave situation prevailing on the Korean peninsula due to moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean authorities.

It said:

There is a tendency towards detente, reconciliation and reunification on the Korean peninsula thanks to the patriotic will of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

However, the U.S. and south Korean authorities are scheming to disturb it.

We vehemently denounce all provocations of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities against the DPRK, the motherland of Juche.

We also resolutely reject the assertion of the imperialist media patronizing that such racket for a war of aggression is "annual".

We fully support the DPRK's principled stand clarified in the statement of the spokesman for the Policy Department of the NDC of the DPRK.

We demand the U.S. and south Korean authorities roll back their scenarios for war drills against the DPRK.
