It was one day in January Juche 89 (2000) that he was on the way for field guidance to North Phyongan Province.

On train he made out a detailed schedule for tours of different sectors in the province, saying that work was just a rest for him.

After the inspection of military units early in the morning, he went round rezoned Handre Plain in Thaechon County for hours. At that time officials could not put up a board of blueprint on land rezoning due to strong wind.

Then he continued his field guidance, enduring his fatigue.

Such restless journey of field guidance was based on his patriotic devotion and deep love for the people.
