Foreigners, Overseas Koreans Pay Tribute to Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- The diplomatic corps and the military attaches corps here, a delegation of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star headed by Hong In Hum, chairman of the Central Audit Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, and a delegation of the General Association of Koreans in China headed by Chairwoman Choe Un Bok and foreign guests and overseas Koreans visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Sunday, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il. They paid high tribute to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. They entered the hall were Kim Jong Il lies in state and made a bow. They went round the hall where orders he received are on display and the halls which house a car, electric car, boat and train coach. They made entries in the visitor's book. Jo Il Min, chief of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialists National Democratic Front, and its members visited the palace to pay tribute to Kim Jong Il on the same day. |
