On display in the exhibition were more than 700 potted Kimjongilia flowers together with photos of the diplomas and gold medals which the immortal flower had been awarded in international festivals.

Officials and other citizens of the city took part in the exhibition, and officials of the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang and officials of several units of the DPRK working in the city were invited to the event.

The director general of a company in the city said that the company and the city deemed it an honor to cultivate the flowers named after the august names of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, who provided the Sino-DPRK friendship and brought it into bloom.

The director general of the company expressed the will to bring the flower into bloom in the future, too in order to make a positive contribution to developing the friendship.

The general manager renewed the determination to widely propagate the flowers not only in China but in other countries, saying that the flowers reflect the reverence of the world progressives for the peerlessly great persons.
